Work on the Building Information Model (BIM) by the CSTB.

ICT* for Sustainable Homes Event was held on 16 and November 17 in Nice. The context for ICT and Sustainable Homes evolves rapidly and it is still difficult to foresee what will be the key technologies, standards and dominant players. However, the event brought together industries, research actors and presented the various pieces of the puzzle. HOMES programme BIM (Building Information Model) ongoing work was presented by Mr Eric Lebègue.

Mr Eric Lebègue is Deputy Head of MODEVE (Modeling Division  for Virtual end Enriched Environments). The division MODEVE at CSTB is in charge of accompanying professional actors toward digital model methodologies deployment. He is also one of the main architects of IFC (Industry Foundation Classes) international standard.
