Photovoltaic energy (PV) is the conversion of sunlight into electricity. It is a technology generally used outdoor with solar cell designed & optimized for the solar spectrum.
Indoor photovoltaic (IPV) is adapted to artificial lighting characterized by low illumination conditions and various spectral distributions.
