Schneider Electric and Philips launch building control interoperability vision within HOMES programme
February 13, 2009 – Schneider Electric and Philips will today launch a new vision for interoperability in home automation and building control.
Introduction
Philips is the global leader in lighting. Its products can be found not only everywhere in the home, but also in a multitude of professional applications.

We currently have some 63.000 employees in Philips Lighting. Headquarters are in Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Business activities: Lamps; Luminaires (Consumer and Professional); Lighting Electronics & Controls; Automotive Lighting; Special Lighting Applications; LED Components; and Solid State Lighting Modules. We have sales organizations in some 60 countries and manufacturing in 14 countries.

  • The definition of interfaces between the lighting system and other systems in the building
