A new generation of energy management switchboards is being created. It offers the ability to connect to and to utilize renewable energies (photovoltaic and wind turbine). This board is intelligent and is capable of suggesting alternative courses of action to the user according to user preferences: energy savings, renewable energy maximum use, profitability.

The HOMES collaborative innovation programme has signed a cooperation agreement with the French Electrical Contractors’ Association (FFIE) to set up pilot sites for testing the programme’s solutions. Didier Pellegrin, HOMES Programme Director, and Jean-Claude Guillot, FFIE President, signed the agreement on Tuesday, February 2 in Paris.
